IFFCO Nano DAP is a nanotechnology based revolutionary agri input which provides nitrogen and phosphorous to plants.   • What is Nano DAP (liquid)?

    Nano DAP (Liquid) is a novel Nano fertiliser notified under FCO (1985), Govt. of India on 2nd March 2023. Nano DAP formulation contains Nitrogen (8.0% N w/v) and Phosphorus (16.0 %  P2O5 w/v)

  • What are the benefits of Nano DAP (liquid)?
    • Nano DAP (Liquid) is indigenous and non subsidised fertiliser
    • It is  an efficient source of available nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P2O5) for all the crops. It corrects the Nitrogen & Phosphorus deficiencies in standing crops
    • Nutrient use efficiency is more than 90 percent under optimum field conditions
    • Beneficial as Seed Primer for Early Germination and Vigour, Enhances Crop Growth and Quality, Boosts Crop Yield

  • How to use Nano DAP (Liquid)?
    1. Seed Treatment:- Apply Nano DAP @ 3-5 ml per Kg of seeds by dissolving in required quantity of water to form thin film on seed surface. Leave for 20-30 minutes; Shade dry it and then sow it
    2. Root/ Tuber/ Setts Treatment:- Apply Nano DAP @ 3-5 ml per litre of water. Dip the seedling roots /tuber / setts in required quantity of Nano DAP solution for 20-30 minutes. Dry it in shade and then transplant it
    3. Foliar Spray:- Apply Nano DAP @ 2-4 ml per litre of water at good foliage stage (Tillering /Branching)
      One additional spray at pre-flowering stage can be applied in long duration and high phosphorus requiring crops
  • If rains occur after foliar spray of Nano DAP, what should be done?

    If rains occur within 12 hours of foliar application it is recommended to repeat the spray

  • Can we apply Nano DAP through soil or drip?

    No, Nano DAP (liquid) is recommended for application only as seed treatment and foliar spray at critical growth stages of crops.
