Complete Application Guide for Nano Dap

Time & Dosage of Application

Time & quantity of Nano DAP to be applied on crops

Seed Treatment – 3-5 ml per Kg of seeds
Root / Tuber / Sett Treatment - 3-5 ml per litre of water
Foliar Spray - 2-4 ml per litre of water at good foliage stage (Tillering /Branching) and 2nd spray at Pre Flowering / Late Tillering stage

Note

1. One Cap of Nano DAP Bottle= 25 ml

2. The required quantity of Nano DAP (Liquid) varies with Crop Type, Seed Size & Seed Rate.

Note – Always prepare a fresh solution in clean water before spraying. It is always advised to not use pre-mixed and stored solutions.

In Addition To This, The Compatibility Can Be Tested Using A Jar Test.

Follow the steps to conduct Jar test

Step 1Get a quart-sized jar with a sealable lid and add 500 ml of water into jar.

Step 2Mix ¼ to ½ ml of Nano DAP and add the chemical which you want to test the compatibility with.

Step 3 Seal the jar with the lid and shake vigorously

RESULT - If the materials are physically compatible, the jar will be cool to the touch and there will be no separation of materials or forming of clumps or emulsions. If the mixture is incompatible, the jar may be warm or hot to the touch; layers may form in the mixture; or sludge, clumps or grains may form in the mixture.

Method of Application

Apply Nano DAP (Liquid) @ 250 ml - 500 ml per acre per spray. Required water quantity for spray varies with the type of sprayers. General requirement of Nano DAP liquid, sprayer wise is given as below:

Knapsack Sprayers: 2-3 caps (50-75 ml) of Nano DAP liquid per 15-16 liter tank; 8-10 tanks normally cover 1 acre crop area
Boom / Power sprayers: 3-4 caps (75-100 ml) of nano DAP per 20-25 liter tank; 4-6 tanks normally cover 1 acre crop area
Drones: 250 - 500 ml quantity of nano DAP liquid per tank of 10-20 liter volume to cover 1 acre area
